We're Hiring an Intern!


Beyond Ideas Group, a strategic communications and event production company that elevates social impact and diversity success for business, tech, media and policy organizations, is hiring a part-time intern. Below is a description of both roles.


  • Project Management:  Organize and manage production trackers (using excel and google calendar) and draft documents (blogs, op-eds, digital media plans, client progress reports)

  • Content Creation:  Produce and collaborate with vendors on creative content (videos, infographics, decks, etc.)

  • Event Production: Research venues, vendors, hotels, and other event elements, initiating contact and getting quotes for projects, organize hotel room blocks and travel as needed and requested

  • Communications:  Compile news clips by topic for clients and company as needed, conduct research on various topics as needed, draft press releases, newsletters, and other documents for consumption 



  • Be available 10-20 hours each week during working hours (9am-6pm ET) 

  • Have regular and reliable access to a computer, smartphone, and internet

Qualifications and Pay

Seeking college junior/senior, graduate student, or recent graduate in Washington, DC or abroad. Pay is $12/hour, paid monthly. This position has the potential to turn into a full-time salaried position with vacation and benefits.
